Kalaivani Kumareswaran is a graduate of both Bharatanatyam and Odissi from the Temple of Fine Arts.
Kalaivani has been performing extensively since the age of 12 in numerous TFA productions both in Singapore and Malaysia.
She has also performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2008 at the Roxy Arthouse Theatre and in Thailand during the ASEAN Day
Celebrations in 2009. Her recent performances include Taal Express (2013) and Once upon a Peacock’s Tail (2014) during Kalaa
Utsavam at the Esplanade.
In 2006, Kalaivani began her Nattuvangam training and completed her Arangetram in April 2015. She is also learning Kathak and
Carnatic Music at the Temple of Fine Arts.
Currently, Kalaivani is teaching Bharatanatyam and Odissi at the Temple of Fine Arts. She also heads the Mathangi Performance
Wing which was started 2015.
